Meet Shino

What is Shino?

Your AI editing agent. You talk, Shino edits.

Updated October 2026

The short answer

Shino is an AI video editing agent for people who talk to camera. You upload a clip, say what you want in plain English, and Shino does the whole edit on its own: it cuts the pauses, adds word-by-word captions, zooms, hook titles and animations, cleans the audio and gives you back a vertical reel ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. There is no timeline, it learns your style, and it always edits your real footage.

Shino in one minute

  • Shino is an agent-first, chat-first AI video editor: you say what you want and your editing agent makes the edit.
  • Shino has no timeline. Every change happens in the chat.
  • Shino learns your style, so each video starts closer to how you like it.
  • Shino edits your real footage. It never generates avatars or synthetic people.
  • Shino keeps adding short-form animations: word-by-word captions, punch-in zooms, hook titles, typing chat bubbles, DM and comment callouts, stickers and more.
  • Shino is built for anyone who talks to camera: creators, influencers, founders, UGC and brand content.
  • Shino exports 1080x1920 vertical MP4s ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

How it works

  1. Drop your clip. Upload a vertical talking-head video from your phone or camera.
  2. Tell Shino what you want. Describe the video in your own words: the goal, the vibe, the length, what to highlight.
  3. Review and refine in chat. Shino shows you stills and a rendered version. Ask for changes the way you would ask a human editor.
  4. Download and post. Get a ready-to-post MP4 for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

A first brief can be one sentence: "Make it 30 seconds, cut the pauses, captions on, zoom when I say the price." Shino plans the edit, shows you stills, renders a version and takes changes in the same chat. The full walkthrough is on how it works.

What makes it different

Most video editors are tools you operate. You learn the tracks, find the buttons and make every cut yourself. Shino is an editor you brief. It decides the cuts, the caption style, where to zoom and which animation fits each moment, the way an experienced short-form editor would, and you direct it in words.

It also gets better the more you use it. Shino remembers the caption look, pacing, colors and hooks you keep choosing, so each new video starts closer to your style and you explain less every time. Read more about editing without a timeline or why it works as an easy video editor for beginners.

Who Shino is for

Anyone who films themselves talking and would rather not spend the evening editing it:

What Shino is not

  • A video generator. Shino never creates avatars, synthetic people or AI footage. It edits the video you filmed, with your face and your voice.
  • A long-form timeline editor. Shino is built for short vertical talking-head videos. For documentaries, multi-camera shoots or cinematic projects, a timeline editor is still the right tool.
  • A template app. You do not pick a preset and fill it in. Shino chooses what fits your video, and you change anything by asking.
